“I strive to use my expertise in order to create a comfortable and safe environment for you to address your concerns. I believe counseling is a powerful process that changes the clinician and the individual both. Counseling compels us to take a hard look at reality and face the truth however tough and take one step toward our "ideal self." I like to listen and empower individuals to live their best life. I am also not afraid to gently confront and hold you accountable to your goals.”
As a first-generation Hispanic with roots from Mexico and El Salvador, I have learned to practice under culturally sensitive lenses and have worked with clients from various backgrounds. For the past 5 years, I have provided services to those dealing with hardships of grief and loss as well as trauma recovery.
Dealing with previous family trauma myself, I have learned that trauma does not have to define your life. We all deserve the chance to learn how to transform the trauma that we have experienced instead of letting trauma trap us into its darkness. I provide a safe and judgment free space in which together with the help of a therapeutic alliance and a use of empathetic manners we can work to develop your strengths and reach your goals instead of having trauma weigh you down.

Hello! My name is Brooke Gallman, and I have master's degree in social work from Valdosta State University. While earning my BSW, I gained experience working with children who were at risk or experiencing trauma. I grew professional relationships with children and supported them while they were in school through assistance with food, clothing, therapy, and tutoring support.
I aim to create a safe and calm space so children feel comfortable enough to work through their complex thoughts and feelings with me. I want to empower children who are struggling with their mental health so that they can better manage their thoughts and feelings to be successful in life. While I do love working with children, I also understand that parents are also experiencing some of their children’s anxiety, depression, anger, etc. Because of this, I also strive to assist parents with coping techniques they can use at home with their children and help them better understand what their child is experiencing.

Hi! Are you looking for a therapy experience that is different from what you see on TV or in movies? Do you dislike the idea of talking to somebody in a suit and tie? I did too.
